The 25th Critics’ Choice Awards were presented on January 12, 2020 at the Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport, together with its television awards, honoring the finest achievements of 2019 filmmaking. The ceremony was broadcast on The CW and hosted by Taye Diggs. According to the Critics Choice Association, “The Critics Choice Association is the largest critics organization in the United States and Canada, representing more than 400 television, radio and online critics.” An award show like this has many dimensions as we honor those who have had a major influence on film and cinematography. The night started on the blue carpet as celebrities met up and showed off their best looks for everyone to see. From there, the annual award show began and we saw who was being nominated and honored for the evening.
