On Sunday January 5th, the 2020 Golden Globes blessed us with a night of its annual award show anticipation. The Golden Globe Awards are in recognition of outstanding achievement in motion pictures and television during the previous year. All though we love seeing the accomplishments of the winners that night, we also enjoy watching the celebrity red carpet and spotting our favorite fashion looks. Celebrities come with their best looks that push the boundraries in collaboration with high profile designers. Here are our top 5 fashion looks of the night.
Tiffany Haddish
Comedian and actress Tiffany Haddish hit the red carpet in a pink dress by Galia Lahav and styled by Law Roach. Along with the flowy dress, she paired her look with dainty jewelry that totaled in 100k in value. The dress featured a V-neck with a form fitting waistline. Tiffany Haddish gave us a poised look which was perfect for the event.
Kerry Washington
Kerry Washington’s Golden Globes’ look was everything! As someone who is usually private and reserved, we received the shock of the night when Kerry Washington popped out in two-piece by Altuzarra and styled by Law Roach. The black ensamble gave us a sleek look that showed a little skin in all the right places.
Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift showed up in a custom navy silk jacquard floral print ball gown with a keyhole cut out. The dress was designed by Etro and styled by Joseph Cassell Falconer. The blue, yellow and teal floral print popped out against her glowing skin. The dress featured a long train, a sweetheart neckline and cut-out detail at the midriff. Under the floor-length hem she had on a pair of navy blue satin Christian Louboutin sandals.
Reese Witherspoon
Reese Witherspoon took to her Instagram and joked “Wearing white to the biggest party of the year, wish me luck! đ #GoldenGlobes“. Her dress was designed by Roland Mouret and styled by Petra Flannery. Her custom white crepe one-shoulder asymmetric gown was paired with Tiffany & Co. jewels and Christian Louboutin platform sandals.
Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez showed us the she was the present for the night! In a dress by Valentino and styled by Rob Zangardi, she styled a gorgeous gown featuring gold and emerald green bow embellishments on the bodice. The gown was paired Harry Winston Colombian diamonds including a carat necklace set in 18k yellow gold and platinum.
