Over the weekend, executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson alongside STARZ President and CEO Jeffrey Hirsch hosted the series premiere of “Power Book II: Ghost” with a drive-in screening in the Hamptons.
The event not only included the exclusive screening but a pre-show, in which Jackson and Hirsch took the stage.
The star-studded event included appearances from supermodel Christie Brinkley, actor John Leguizamo, CNN Anchor Don Lemon, journalist Jill Rappaport, and the author and creator of Sex And the City, Candace Bushnell.
Throughout the event, Jackson used his social media platforms to show his excitement for the premiere.
Jackson shared with his followers, the view from his car as he watched the premiere alongside his guests.
The rapper turned entrepreneur also took to Instagram to shout out actor John Leguizamo for coming out.
Power Book II: Ghost picks up just days after the jaw-dropping finale. The show follows Tariq, played by Michael Rainey Jr, as he navigates through new trials in his life as he tries to keep his family together.
Along with Rainey, the sequel will include some of there series favorite characters such as Naturi Naughton as “Tasha St. Patrick,” Mary J. Blige as “Monet Stewart Tejada,” Shane Johnson as “Cooper Saxe,” and many more.
Power Book II: Ghost premiered Sunday, Sept. 6th at 9 pm ET on STARZ. If you missed the premiere the show is available to stream on Starz.com or the Starz app.
