Cardi B has decided to take her talents to the big screen!
Now this wouldn’t be Cardi’s first rodeo on the big screen, she did cast in 2019’s blockbuster Hustlers alongside Jennifer Lopez, Lizzo, and Keke Palmer. This time Cardi is taking things up a notch.
The rapper will star as a lead role in the movie ‘Assisted Living‘ a film based on an original spec script by This Is Us writer Kay Oyegun.
According to BET, the comedy will center around Amber, (Cardi B) someone described as “a small-time crook who finds herself in over her head when a heist goes wrong. On the run from the cops and her former crew, she struggles to find anywhere to hide. Running out of options, Amber disguises herself as an elderly woman and hides out in the one place no one will look — her estranged grandmother’s nursing home.”
Oyegun took on to Twitter to share the news and her excitement in a tweet that read:

There has been no set release date for the film yet, but we are sure Cardi will keep fans posted!
