Tina Knowles-Lawson honors her eldest daughter Beyoncé in a loving tribute praising her Grammy wins.

Sunday, March 14, Beyoncé added four more Grammy wins to her roster, giving her a total of 28 trophies. The singer has become the most awarded female artist in Grammy history. This past Sunday, she took home Best Music Video for “Brown Skin Girl,” Best R&B Performance for “Black Parade,” and Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for “Savage” with rapper Megan Thee Stallion.

Her mother quickly took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message to her firstborn.

In the post, Knowles-Lawson details the dedication the “Black is King” singer had at a young age to her music career.

“I remember 7 years old!” She writes. “So much, Blood, sweat and tears, intense training, vocal lessons, dance lessons, running and singing with your dad, every morning, missed parties and proms, hardly any playing outside. Total dedication and tremendous 100 Percent focus. So many sacrifices. I have to say you don’t have a career like this without huge sacrifices and pure dedication.”

Knowles-Lawson continues referring to Beyonce’s music career as “groundbreaking” and “game changing.”

She describes her daughter’s “unapologetic statements” in music and film as bar raising.

“Every award show I look at,” she continues. “I see your inspiration in so many other’s performances in some way . You are always complimentary you are always exposing young talent , and creatives, I front of and behind the camera’s teaching, training, mentoring sharing all of the resources that you have taken years ,and so much sacrifice to build.”

Knowles-Lawson ends the loving post applauding her daughter’s grace.

“You are truly a gracious Class act!!! I am so Proud not of just the 28 Grammys but for the incredible human being you have managed to stay.”
