Although U.S. sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson will not participate in the upcoming Olympics, Richardson has been offered a $250K endorsement deal from THC company Dr. Dabber.

The 21-year-old was suspended from the Tokyo games after testing positive for marijuana. Since the announcement, the internet went into a frenzy over whether or not Richardson should be allowed to run.

Celebrities and politicians joined in the debate, launching the internet hashtag #LetHerRun.

Following the shocking news, Dr. Dapper sent an offer letter to Richardson, which TMZ uncovered. In the letter, a representative from Dr. Dapper expressed their empathy towards the USADA’s decision not to allow Richardson to run.

The letter states, “at Dr. Dapper, we believe that THC can actually have positive effects on an athlete’s recovery and overall mental wellbeing.”

“Considering your talent and grace over these past weeks. We would love to offer you the opportunity to work with our team as a spokesperson for Dr. Dapper. This entails testing our award-winning dab rigs and vape pens as a resident ‘doctor,'” the letter continued.

It has not been announced if Richardson has accepted the endorsement.
