Legendary sportsman, Tom Brady, is now set to play in the NFL once again. After announcing his retirement two months ago, fans said goodbye to the seven super own champion. I’m a surprise turn of events, Brady took to Twitter and announced that he will be returning to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his 23rd season.

In this Twitter post you see the support from his family as they all rock sports jerseys with his name and number on the back. You also can see the continued overwhelming support in the comments after fans though he said his final goodbye at the Gillette Stadium on October 03, 2021. The announcement of his retirement came after concerns that he wasn’t able to commit himself “100%.” Based on his social media announcement, it seems like his competitive spirit won’t keep him away from the field.

Brady will be stepping up as the quarterback to lead his team to victory next season.

In a statement Sunday evening, Bucs general manager Jason Licht said the announcement was something the team had been preparing for in recent days. “[Head coach Bruce Arians] and I have had plenty of conversations with Tom recently that led us to believe there was a realistic chance he would want to come back,” Licht said. “Tom is the greatest quarterback of all time who is still playing at an elite level. With this decision now made, we will continue to move forward with our offseason plans to reload this roster for another championship run.”
