Multi-Grammy Award winner John Legend debuted the music video to “Wonder Woman” from his latest album LEGEND on Wednesday, September 14th. Shot in the Tuscan part of Italy, it displays a tribute to women. The video released on Legend and Chrissy Tiegen‘s 9th wedding anniversary.
Directed by Nabil Elderkin, director of Legend’s track “All of Me”, captured the “power and grace of women”. Watch the full “Wonder Woman” video here. While singing the lyrics, “You make me wonder woman how you do it” shots of Chrissy Tiegen and their children are seen. This is the third music featuring the couple!
According to the press release, LEGEND presents two acts. The first act details the emotions of Saturday night including “lust, self, sex, and adventure”. The second reflects on Sunday morning focusing on “healing, intimacy, soulfulness, and commitment”. Before it’s September 9th release, tracks “Honey” featuring Muni Long and “Dope” featuring JID set the tone for the album. Artists featured on the sultry project include Saweetie, Jazmine Sullivan, Ledisi, Ty Dolla $ign and others.
After performing at Monday’s Emmy Awards, the EGOT winner will return to his Las Vegas residency “Love in Las Vegas” next month. The show runs from October 14th through October 29th. Tickets are available here.
