When attending big events in Hollywood, like the Oscars, you’re bound to run into an ex crush. This was the case for Drake. Superstar couple Beyonce and Jay Z threw a gold-themed Oscars after party and of course only top of the line celebs were invited. The event was held in L.A. at the Chateau Marmont with guests including, Adele, Ciara, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Lopez, Drake, AND the bad gal herself, Rihanna.
The two have made hits like Work, Take Care, and What’s My Name. Throughout their time working together, they seemed to have a nice vibe on top of making great music. Things went left for the music pair after Drake expressed his admiration for Rihanna as he presented her with the Vanguard Award at the 2016 VMAs. The same year, Rihanna told Vogue, “Waiting through that speech was probably the most uncomfortable part. I don’t like too many compliments; I don’t like to be put on blast.” She insisted her and Drake were no longer friends but weren’t enemies either.
An insider for E News reported the two, “seemed to be very friendly with each other and were hanging out at one point.” Let’s hope they’re able to leave the past in the past and grant us with more hits in this lifetime!
