Big Rings is definitely playing for rapper Drake as he just received a championship from his beloved city NBA team the Toronto Raptors.
Tuesday night, the In My Feelings rapper received the ring during the Raptors opening ceremony, TMZ sports elaborated. Drake did not just stop at one ring though.
In addition to receiving the Toronto Raptors championship ring, Drake placed an order for a custom made championship ring of his own. Making a phone call to Jason of Beverly Hills, Drake asked for a custom made ring. “Drake had me fly from Turks and Caicos for an emergency design meeting” Jason told TMZ Sports. The ring is said to have over 30 carats of diamonds, which has more than any other NBA championship ring in history. Yes, history!
Jason also said to TMZ sports, “It’s a championship that’s dear to his heart and he wanted to create an over the top that not only paid homage to his city but made a statement above and beyond anything else in history.”
Big Rings is surely playing in the background from Drake.
