Rihanna’s Releases a Visual Autobiographical Book‬

Rihanna has a new release. It has nothing to do with music, Fenty beauty, nor a fashion show for her lingerie line. It’s a visual autobiographical book with over 1,000 photos of her status as a visual icon. It weighs 15 pounds and stands over 16 inches tall, and is expected to sit down on a table to be an exhibit, like art at a museum. Besides brief captions and headings, there are no words, not even an introduction.

Several pictures are very recognizable to Rihanna’s most devoted fans, the Navy, who has watched her career grow into the icon she is today. For instance, a full spread of her childhood days in Barbados. A spread is celebrating Rihanna’s 23rd birthday party, where she’s shown smoking a cigar as Jay-Z gifts her a gold champagne bottle as Beyoncé is smiling beside him. Rihanna’s close friends Melissa Forde and Jennifer Rosales are throughout the book as well. New behind the context of the scenes of Rihanna’s most public moments of her life as well as multiple fashion collaborations that introduce the release of her own extravagance fashion line, Fenty.
