There are so many questions revolving around the word, marriage. We are always wondering what is the key to marriage and partnership that makes it last longer than 10 years. JaGurl TV caught up with the legendary singer, Jon B at the 2019 Soul Train Awards, as we congratulated him on 13 years of marriage.
Jon B shared some of his tips on how his marriage has lasted so long. “Communication is the one thing. It can get bad sometimes, and just make it get better. Just tighten it up just like anything else. You know the screws come a little loose, you gotta tighten them suckers down you know what I’m saying. And then you know you have that foundation so yeah man that’s something that is important for everyone to know. That’s why a song like ‘They Don’t Know’; that’s what it is about. Let’s keep this right between us, and communicate instead of talking about that to your friends, talk to me.”
He also announced new music will be on the way by the year of 2020. He has two singles out now that he recently dropped, which one of the two features Donell Jones. “The first two single off the album are out right now. You can go on Apple Music and download a duet between me and Donell Jones, and it’s called ‘Understand’; as well as another song that I just dropped on my birthday the 11th it’s called ‘Priceless’. It’s for you priceless ladies out there of course.”
This new album ‘Understand’ will be available in the fresher part of 2020.
