Looks like Essence has some exciting new projects coming up in 2020 as they have recently announced their first ever Essence + New Voices Entrepreneur Summit and Target Holiday Market.
This event is created to be an interactive bubble that will be a cultural and economic space to support black owned businesses and trying to increase economic opportunities for businesses owned by people of color.
According to Essence, the summit will bring together hosts of today’s leading executives, business moguls, and venture capitalist from the world of tech, beauty, entertainment, fashion, and wellness industries creating a beautiful weekend of panel discussions, masterclasses, and fireside chats.

Essence has also released the line-up of intelligent, remarkable, well-known public figures in the industry. Some of the list includes; Queen Latifah (entertainer & entrepreneur), T.I. (entertainer & entrepreneur), Jermaine Dupri (record executive), Pretty V (comedian, actress, and social media influencer), Rapsody (Grammy-nominated rapper), Kim Kimble (celebrity hairstylist & entrepreneur), Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms.
