The 25th Critics’ Choice Awards was last night and our favorite celebs came on the red carpet SERVING legendary looks. As most celebrities came in fashionable more toned down looks, there are some honorable mentions to be made for those who came out with a pop of color and a risqué fashion piece. As this is an event that celebrated our favorite movies, actors, directors and cinematography, it is always fun to see what these celebrities are like outside of their roles and show their own personal style. Here are a few of our favorite fashion looks from the night.
Jennifer Lopez
J-Lo stepped out on the blue carpet in a dazzling champagne Georges Hobeika gown that hugged all of her curves. Her waist and neckline were dripping in crystals that she paired with a crystal Winston Vintage 1972 chandelier drop earrings, matching Jimmy Choo clutch and Harry Winston bracelet. Oh, and how can we forget about the rock that she got on her finger!
Zendaya
Zendaya shut the carpet down in these warrior princess vibes. She wore a hot pink Tom Ford two-piece crop top and matching maxi skirt. Zendaya kept the focus on her look by not adding any big accessory pieces other than her long braids that fell to her waist, continuing to strut her black girl magic.
Lupita Nyong’o
Lupita came in looking smooth as butter. She wore a custom Michael Kors 2020 Collection Chocolate Plongé Leather-and-Georgette gown, chunky pomellato jewelry, a brown Tyler Ellis clutch and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes that all matched her chocolate skin.
Kristen Bell
Kristen Bell dressed for the occasion and let everyone know that there is a new ‘she-ro’ in town! She came in a silky neon Cong Tri jumpsuit with a long superhero like cape trailing her. She created her own wing last night. Along with the drama of that beautiful cape, she also came in a stand out shade that was a perfect contrast to other celebrities at the event.
Niecy Nash
Niecy Nash took the carpet by storm in a multi chrome Tadashi Shoji off the shoulder wrap dress. She paired the look with a Jimmy Choo clutch and sparking blue heels to strut her stuff.
