Everyone deals with different emotions, and when celebrities touch on those type of topics, it lets people know that everyone is human and having emotions are normal. Angelina Jolie, better known as the iconic Laura Croft, spoke with Harper’s BAZAAR touching on different topics, one being her emotional scars and how she embraced herself again.
Jolie starteded the interview off by discussing how she feels about looking more bold these days, “My body has been through a lot over the past decade, particularly the past four years, and I have both visible and invisible scars to show for it ….It’s not new or old but I do feel the blood returning to my body.”
She credits her kids for helping her find herself again. Telling BAZAAR that she encourages her kids to embrace themselves and they expect the same thing from her as well. “My children know my true self, and they have helped me to find it again and to embrace it.”
The maleficent actress also went to discuss how she taught her kids to be bold. Mainly touching that she makes sure they know who they truly are, making sure they are able to say “Here’s who I am, and what I believe.”
Jolie also discussed her childhood, how she feels about being in the public’s opinions, and other varieties of discussions.
