After the shocking Marcus Hyde (celebrity photographer) scandal broke lose, Pop Star singer Ariana Grande has taken her thoughts on the whole situation to Instagram, encouraging her followers to lookout for one another and to stand their ground.
Quoted from Grande’s Instagram story “I have just read some shocking and really heartbreaking stories. I hate that this is a conversation. Please do not shoot with photographers who make you uncomfortable or make you feel like you need to take your clothing off if you don’t want to”
She wrote several encouraging things to her followers, and even tagged photographers that she loves working with.
What is this Marcus Hyde scandal?
Model Sunnaya Nash always loved Marcus Hyde’s photography. When she saw the chance to have the opportunity to shoot with him, she immediately jumped on it. However, Nash was not expecting it to go left as their conversation jumped to her sending Hyde nudes in exchange for a free photoshoot. The model declined, replying that she is “comfortable shooting lingerie and partial nudity”.
Well, the rest of the conversation went totally left. Hyde began to price the photoshoot $2,000 because of her declining his request and even saying, “I’ll keep shooting celebs”.
Nash posted the conversation on her instagram story and twitter with the hashtag #CancelMarcusHyde. Other women began coming forward that Hyde had them do things that they were uncomfortable with as well. Celebrities such as Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and others noticed the scandal and spoke out on it as well.
