Beats By Dre Launches “Beats Black Future” For HBCU Students

Earlier this week, Beats by Dre announced a new initiative for HBCU creatives. They are calling for the most talented filmmakers and creators f our generation. In an announcement on the beats by Dre Instagram page, we are greeted with a sketched photo of young creatives in their element.

The slogan for this announcement stated, “Black future is now.”According to the Beats By Dre website they are, “lending our platform in sports, music, and culture to black creatives from HBCUs.” Applicants will have the opportunity to create films, write articles, and help design products.

This opportunity is open to current students or recent grad of an HBCU. This paid program will run for three months. Applicants will have the chance to work with leaders in their desired industry.
