And the nominees are…
It’s that time of year again for the biggest family reunion on television. The 2018 BET Awards are approaching us and this year nominees are already burning up the stage. Our favorite motivator DJ Khaled led the nominations with six possible wins including Album of the Year ( Grateful) and Video of the Year ( Wild Thoughts ft. Rihanna and Bryson Tiller). SZA and the Migos match each other with four nominations. SZA is also in running for best new artist against H.E.R. The category for Best Female Hip Hop Artist is causing the most frenzy amongst audiences because both Nicki Minaj and Cardi B are nominated to receive the award for Best Hip Hop Artist of 2018. The Category for Best Female actress is also a tough competition this year with nominees such as: Tiffany Haddish, Issa Rae, Taraji P. Henson, Angela Basset, and Lupita Nyong’o. There’s a bigger competition amongst the Best Collaboration Award, placing the hottest songs against each other such as: Finesse, Wild Thoughts, Top Off, Bartier Cardi, Unforgettable, and Loyalty.
