It was announced today that Carl Weber’s “The Family Business” is coming back for a second season. The show is scheduled stream exclusively on BET+. The show is based on the New York Times best-selling crime drama series and has created an interested audience before the launch of season 1. According to BET, “…the Duncans, an upstanding tight knit family that, by day, owns and operates an exotic car dealership in New York. By night, their business activities are more illicit in nature. Making a return to the cast will be Ernie Hudson, Valarie Pettiford, Darrin DeWitt Henson, Javicia Leslie, Sean Ringgold, Tami Roman, Miguel A. Nunez, Arrington Foster, KJ Smith, Dylan Weber, Yadi Valerio and Emilio Rivera.” With such an all star cast this season is sure to be a whirlwind of drama and good entertainment.

Once again, BET has allowed Carl Weber to bring the vision of the characters from ‘The Family Business’ novels to life. Season 2 will pick up where the show last left off and we witness the Duncans recover in the aftermath of a assault on their home. New rivals, new family drama and of course, getting back to business.
