Beyoncé Opens Up About Her Creative Process ‘I Give it All of Me’

Beyoncé never seems to disappoint, her dedication in her work ethic and the perfectionist in her reveals with every project she presents to her audience. One can only wonder, what’s the secret?

Throughout the years Beyoncé has worked on a number of projects from performances, campaigns, and even voicing her concern during Black Lives Matter movement. In a Vogue exclusive interview the star says, “I choose to invest my time and energy only in projects that I am passionate about. Once I’ve committed, I give it all of me. I start with identifying my intention and making sure that I am aligned with the collaborators for the same purpose.”

The artist also gives a glimpse of her thought process while she’s in that creative mode, “My process is tedious. I review every second of footage several times and know it backwards and forwards. I find every ounce of magic and then I deconstruct it. I keep building more layers and repeat this editing process for months. I won’t let up until it’s undeniably reached its full potential.”

Beyonce is also known for her involvement in the community and has recently spoken out about #ENDSARS, which is a decentralized social movement and series of mass protests against police brutality in Nigeria. The slogan calls for the disbanding of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), a notorious unit of the Nigerian Police with a long record of abuses. In a Vogue Interview, she discusses her projects that involved giving back, such as working with a local hospital in Houston; supported them with supplies and essential needs to best treat those infected with COVID-19. She also worked with her Church in Houston, Texas to set up COVID-19 testing for Houstonians.

This has been a very generous year for the singer, she also adds “I was fortunate to help even more people with funds raised from the “Savage” remix with Megan Thee Stallion. We donated the proceeds to support Covid-19 victims. I did the same thing with “Black Parade”. It’s been a year of service for me.”

It’s amazing to tap into the creative process of such an ambitious individual and see all of the great things she’s doing to advocate for the community, we can’t wait to see more.
