As we wrap up the wins from the 63rd GRAMMY’s and send out congratulations, there was one artist in particular who was actually ’embarrassed’ to win.

Billie Ellish received the award for Record Of The Year, this would be the second year in a row the 19-year old took home the title, but this year during her speech, she humbly insists that Megan The Stallion deserved the win.

“This is really embarrassing for me,” Eilish said. “Megan, girl, I was going to write a speech about how you deserve this.” she went on. “But then I was like, ‘There’s no way they’re gonna choose me.’ I was like, ‘It’s hers.'”

Billie continued to praise the rapper by saying “You are so beautiful. You are so talented,” she continued. “You deserve everything in the world. I think about you constantly. I root for you always. You deserve it, honestly.”

“Genuinely, this goes to her,” Billie said. “Can we just cheer for Megan Thee Stallion, please?”

It’s truly amazing to see women acknowledging the efforts and hard work of other women in the industry!

Awards weren’t all missed though, Megan still took home the award for Best New Artist, as well as Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for her “Savage” remix featuring Beyoncé.

Congratulations to all the ladies on their spectacular wins for their hard work, this year!
