Blueface, who’s real name is Johnathan Porter, will head to trial on August 16th for an alleged highway shooting that happened back in November 2018.

According to Complex, Blueface was allegedly involved in what seemed to be a vehicle-to-vehicle gunfire which ended with the rapper crashing into the walls on State Route 14 freeway in California. According to Shirley Miller, of Santa Clarita Vally Sheriff, there was a robbery that occurred the same night as the shooting. They believe Blueface had something to do with the robbery as well.

When police arrived to the crime scene, it was said that Blueface was found sitting in his car, without a gun. The gun was later found in the bushes. According to Complex, he was charged for felony possession of carrying a firearm, and was released on bail for $35,000.

Blueface and his management team say that he is innocence, and surveillance footage will prove he did not do anything wrong. If Blueface is proven guilt, he will face a possible sentence of three years in prison.
