Singer, songwriter and actress Brandy is considered an Icon being in the industry for over 20 years. With hit songs like ‘The Boy is Mine’, and tv shows like ‘Moesha’, Brandy is truly a staple in the entertainment industry.
Although Brandy has made timeless music, it has been 7 years since Brandy has released an album. JaGurl TV had an exclusive interview with Brandy at the 2019 BET Black Girls Rock yellow carpet, and of course we wanted to know when we can expect some new music from the songstress.
“I got a date ya’ll, I can say its 2019, I’m just finishing up a few things just to make sure because I just don’t want anything; any eyes not dotted and any t’s not crossed. But you can expect something very soon from me.”
With R&B evolving, Brandy was sure to let us know that we can expect something new this time around. “The inspiration for this project is a lot of the things I went through in the 7 years that I haven’t been on the music scene. So, its a very honest album, its very pure, and I’m just so excited about it.
She also mentioned that she has some really dope features that we will be excited about. This will Brandy’s 7th studio album (not including Brandy & Ray J – A Family Business) and we are excited to see what she has been cooking up in the studio!
