Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is notably one of the most fashionable athletes in pro sports. The Heisman Trophy winner is making great use of his time off the field while recovering from injuries. He owns a restaurant and cigar bar in Atlanta called Fellaship, and now has become an equity partner and investor for Vinta Supply Co, a premium travel gear and accessory company.
Vinta’s backpacks and accessories come with a lifetime warranty and are inspired by 1800’s British Hardpacks. Co-founders Douglas Larson and Victor Soto met with Newton in Atlanta where they ironed out more details that will make the bag more functional. The company says that Newton will continue to work on more bag designs in the future and that the Type-II C1N bag is available on their site for pre-order today.
