Most artists use their influence to do their part to give back to those in need around the world. Rapper, Cardi B, recently took a trip to Africa for her performance in Lagos on December 7, 2019. Performing was not the only thing she had set in her heart for this trip as the Brooklyn native made sure that she set time aside to do good for the natives. Going to the Motherless Babies Home orphanage in Lekki, Cardi donated tons of useful supplies like food, water, and diapers.
The GRAMMY award winning artist also shouted out the workers of the facility on an Instagram post. Posting a photo of the workers casually smiling, she wrote
“Gotta thank the ladies and the gentlemen that nurtured these kids that need just a little bit of love and protection and gear them up for a better place, destiny, and future. People like YALL MATTER!”
According to Hip Hop DX, Cardi performed at the Livespot X Festival in Lagos, and she also made a qucik trip to Ghana.
