It looks like Cardi B is finding a balance between being a new mom and being one of the best new female emcees. She released the music video for her song Ring which is on her debut album and features singer Kehlani.
Ring is a song about having struggles in a relationship and wanting your significant other to reach out and call to make things better.
In the song Cardi can be heard rapping:
“Hit me when you free, 1-800
It’s emergency, call me 911
‘Cause right now I’m out here tryna find someone
The ring on my phone, ring on my finger
You actin’ like you ain’t tryna do either
Was a good girl, watched me turn diva
Here goes my heart, I put it on speaker”
Cardi and Kehlani appear to have an uncanny resemblance as they both rock blonde hair in the video. The visual also has an amazing graphic effect of the two women in floating phone booths and Cardi wrapped in phone cords.
