Dj D-Nice Host Drive-In Concert for Frontline Medical Workers

With sports arena, and concert halls temporarily closed during the COVID-19 pandemic, Dj D-Nice is taking live music to the next level, performing at Drive-In movie theaters.

Back in May, country star Keith Urban was one of the first artist to perform a drive in concert. He surprised frontline workers at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Tennessee with a drive-in concert at the Watertown’s Stardust Drive-In.

Dj D-Nice followed suit by hosting his very on live DJ set in Miami along side The Roots. They also celebrated frontline workers and proceeds from the concert went to the First Responders Children’s Foundation.

In a recent interview with CNN, Dj D-Nice stated, “I really do believe for the foreseeable future this is the way to go”, he continued “Usually if I’m performing at a club or event, you feel the energy from people. I figured it out by people blowing their horns. Once I had the call and response like, ‘if you’re feeling good, blow your horns!’ And the moment that I felt that and it was loud, that was it. It just felt like regular set to me.”

What a great way to social distance and enjoy the energy from live music.
