DJ Holiday hosted the first annual Beat Auction Atlanta. True Media Independence in collaboration with the Music Education Group held the event at a private mansion with a guest list of 200+ music industry artists, VIPs,  and executives. Those in attendance of the event were provided the opportunity to acquire quality beats from high profile producers such as Zaytoven, Drumma Boy, Anonxmous, Black metaphor and JBeats and  even J White the creator of Bodak Yellow.

These producers are not easily accessible so this event allowed up and coming artists, songwriters, and engineers opportunities to use hot, new beats to further push their careers in the right direction while also making meaningful network connections with others at the event. By the end of the night guests and organizers alike ruled the event as a complete  success, with all auction items sold and proceeds going to a musical school, Dunbar Recreation Center .

The Music Education Group’s purpose is to provide the youth with industry-driven dreams to expand their career interests in music, film, and media. True Media Independence, more commonly known as TMI WorldWide, a marketing company specializes in creating events that break down communication barriers between aspiring entrepreneurs and those established within the music industry. The aim of the event was to set a tone for how those within the music industry engage with social issues and those within the local communities for years to come. Sponsors of the show included ASCAP, AT&T, Konvict Muzic, and the Labz.
