Looks like rapper Fabolous will be able to keep his freedom…that is if he acts right!
TMZ reports the Rapper is entering an intervention program instead of behind bars . The rapper’s attorney told TMZ if Fab stays out of trouble for a year,the charges will be dismissed as long as he finishes the program.
Some are saying the rapper got off easy.
When he was first charged, he was facing more than two decades in jail.
The charges stem from an altercation that happened back in October.
The Internet was ablaze when video surfaced of rapper Fabulous charging towards the mother of his children and then longtime girlfriend emily B along with her father. It was reported during the incident he hit his then-girlfriend multiple times knocking her two front teeth out.
Fab was indicted on one count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury, two counts of threatening to kill, and one count of possession of a weapon. He was seen holding scissors during the altercation.
Fab does have to give Uncle Sam an update once a month until his program is over. He won’t have to take any anger management classes.
Since the incident Fabolous and Emily B have wed in a private ceremony. She and her father have also supported Fabolous throughout all of the legal proceedings.
