SeeHer is “the largest global movement to eliminate gender bias in marketing, advertising, media, and entertainment,” according to the press release.

The first-ever special will dive into the three female artists’ backgrounds. The event will showcase their childhood dreams, mentors, inspiration, and the path to becoming role models.

“iHeartMedia is excited to partner with SeeHer and their SeeHer Hear Her initiative to inspire us all with the stories of amazing women breaking new ground in Hip Hop, Pop, and Country music,” says Gayle Troberman, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for iHeartMedia. “This International Women’s Day, it’s important that we are all reminded of what equality can sound like as we come together to celebrate, inspire and support one another.”

Leading up to the celebration on March 8th is an eight-day countdown. The countdown will air across the nation broadcasted on 600 iHeartMedia stations, including social media and podcasts.

On March 8th, women will take over the mic and lead conversations on equality and inclusion. From 5 pm-6 pm that evening, iHeart Radio will play the biggest hits from current female artists.

Listeners can join in on the topics and conversations online using the #iHeartWomensDay and #SeeHer throughout the day.

The special is set to air on March 8th, International Women’s Day.
