The countdown to the 52nd NAACP Image Awards Ceremony, which honors people of color in the entertainment industry, has begun!
The NAACP Image Awards star-studded Class of 2021 will feature some of the entertainment industry’s biggest names. Special performers, R&B legend Maxwell, and Grammy-nominated artist Jazmine Sullivan are set to take the stage. D-Nice, Viola Davis, Trevor Noah, Regina King, and Tyler Perry are all nominated for Entertainer of the Year.
For King, this is her third year in a row being nominated for the category and Perry’s second. Davis was nominated for the top award from 2015-2017. King, Davis, and Perry have all won NAACP’s Entertainer of the Year. For D-Nice and Trevor, this is their first nomination within this category.
