Going into her 9th season of Iyana Fix My Life, Iyana Vanzant has dealt with many personalities on her show, but it’s one in particular that she has turned down, and that’s R. Kelly. In a recent interview with ABC News Radio Iyana made it pretty clear that there is nothing she can do to help the R&B legend.
“R. Kelly reached out to Fix My Life long before this documentary was ever done,” stated Vanzant. Unfortunately they also claimed that R. Kelly didn’t meet the show’s criteria. “He didn’t have the emotional capacity. Just didn’t have it. And I knew, based on what I was looking at, the paces that I would have to take him through, it would have been brutal.”
Vanzant revealed that in order for her to fix R. Kelly he would need to have a massive healing and own up to his wrong. “He is sick and needs help,” Vanzant said o ABC Radio News.
