It’s safe to say R&B singer, Jacquees, is having a great 2020. The success he has managed to pull off in a year like this is remarkable to watch. This year he has been nominated for a BET award in the “Best Male R&B/Pop Artist” category. His singles “At the Club” and “You” went platinum, while “BED” is 2x platinum. Finally to top it all off, his debut album “4275” went gold.
In an Instagram posted his accomplishments and showed his gratitude.
So, what is next for the singer? During an interview with JaGurl TV, Jacquees assured that he will be dropping new music this year with Chris Brown.
“My new record is going to be me and Chris Brown. it’s called ‘Put In Work,” Jacquees said as he spoke about their brotherly bond.
“CB was always one of my idols. You know when I was 18 I stayed with Chris. When I was 18 I moved in with him. So I’ve been around CB under his wing for so long, I’m under his wing still. Thats my big brother.”
Jacquees also spoke about his relationship with Yung Thug. “You know me and thug kind of came in together. We rich gang. So weekend of got our start at the same time. Thats my brother from the beginning.”
Yung Thug and Chris Brown have been an inspiration for the singer for many years. Til this day they continue to support and show love in the different stages of his career.
