Jamie Foxx will play Mike Tyson in new limited series titled “Tyson,” which will detail Tyson’s legendary boxing career.

The series was originally set to be a movie. The series, written by Colin Preston, spans over Tyson’s whole life. The show will highlight Tyson’s incredible career and how he made history at only 20 years old. Antione Fuqua is set to direct and executive produce the series alongside Martin Scorsese, Tyson, and his wife, Kiki.

“I have been looking to tell my story for quite some time,” Tyson expresses in a statement. “With the recent launch of Legends Only League and the excitement from fans following my return to the ring, now feels like the perfect moment. I look forward to collaborating with Martin, Antoine, Jaime, and the entire creative team to bring audiences a series that not only captures my professional and personal journey but also inspires and entertains.”

Currently, the series has not been attached to a network or streaming service.
