Supermodel Kendall Jenner has confirmed her new business venture in Tequila.
On Tuesday, the 25-year-old took to Instagram to announce her 818 Tequila. The model disclosed that the spirit has been in the making for years prior to its recent release, unknowingly accumulating awards from tasting competitions along the way. One of the most notable awards, which the model mentions, is her 818 won the World’s Tequila Award.
“For almost 4 years Iâve been on a journey to create the best tasting tequila,” Jenner write. “After dozens of blind taste tests, trips to our distillery, entering into world tasting competitions anonymously and WINNING (đ„ł) ..3.5 years later i think weâve done it! this is all weâve been drinking for the last year and i canât wait for everyone else to get their hands on this to enjoy it as much as we do! @drink818 coming soon đ„đ€€.”
The Instagram post also includes a scorecard from the Ultimate Spirits Challenge competition. The judge refers to Jenner’s Tequila as “the greatest tasting tequila of 2020.”
Famous momanger, Kris Jenner, quickly took to social media to praise her daughter’s new business venture.

According to People, 818 tequila was named after the model’s hometown area code. The spirit currently has three varieties; Blanco, Anejo, and Resposado.
There has not been an exact date announced for when the Tequila will be available in stores. But Kendall reassures fans that it will be available “soon.”
