Having a successful makeup line, successfully helping wrongfully sentenced inmates, Kim has now decided to launch a new underwear brand named after a traditional piece of clothing. The fashion icon announced June 25 that she named the collection “Kimono Intimates” as a shapewear line. The KKW beauty entrepreneur stated that this collection is to enhance the shape and curves of women.
Well, Japanese natives have spoken out and said that this was offensive to the traditional 15th-century Kimono clothing that has been known to be worn in Japan. She has received a lot of backlash in the comments on her Instagram. Yahoo Entertainment has stated that the reality TV star has not responded to anything so far about her being offensive towards the culture.
