We are getting very close to the 2020 United States election and President Trump is not making it easy for us to practice our right to vote. Since the budget cuts from the USPS, the biggest tool during a pandemic is slowly being stripped away from Americans. Despite the health risks, and mail in ballots being limited, it is imperative that we still go out to vote.

LeBron James is helping to make Dodger Stadium a hub for voting in Los Angeles. This makes the Dodgers the first Major League Baseball team to make their venue available for voting with the help of More Than A Vote.

More Than A Vote is a “nonprofit coalition of Black athletes and artists working to educate, energize and protect young communities of color by fighting systemic voter suppression,” created by James and other athletes.

The voting process is simple. If you are a registered voter in Los Angeles County, you can visit the stadium over a five-day period. James will ensure the parking will be free for all! Finally, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and public health guidelines will be followed during voting. Since they are expected to be a lot of voters, no one is allowed to take off their mask while in the venue.

As of right now, no other details have been reported.
