Actress Sydney Morton is perceived for her parts in “She’s Gotta Have It,” “Independent: Inspired with the guide of utilizing the Life of Madam C. J. Walker,” and “Show.” She can now add starring as Meghan Markle in the new Lifetime Movie Harry and Meghan Escaping the Palace to her list of notable roles. JaGurl TV spoke with leading stars Sydney and Jordan Dean (casted as Prince Harry) on the difficulties they both overcame portraying well-known royal figures.
“I had to do a scene that portrayed Meghan in her darkest moment, what she spoke about in the Oprah interview, when she was at her lowest. Thats not something you approach in any kind of cavalier way,” Sydney explains, “So not only feeling responibilty to her, but to anybody thats ever experienced those toys of feelings.” I had no anxiety before and after doing that scene. Still, it was a great responsibility for me to portray a well-known lady (Meghan) in her bad days”.
The movie Harry and Meghan Escaping the Palace revolves around the circumstances that were happening with Meghan (Sydney) in the palace and Harry’s (Jordan) willingness to do what needed to happen to save his wife and child, Archie. This movie tells why Harry and Meghan needed to leave their palace to secure their and their child’s future. “It was about trying to find truth in the breathe of the script, and again we’re inhabiting these roles and trying to find how it works for us as actors, and how to not necessarily do a parody of impersonation of Harry, but it try and find my version and essence of what going on in the script.”
