As if the news of the new Space Jam sequel wasn’t good enough, the soundtrack is going to exceed expectations. On the album an unexpected duo will be featured to bring together Hip-Hop and Gospel.
Rapper Lil Baby and grammy award-winning gospel singer Kirk Franklin collaborated to make make the faith-based track “We Win,” which will be featured on the highly anticipated “New Legacy” album.
“We will be better than ever, made a promise, we can do it together, and I ain’t breakin’ my word, I just wish that I could fly like a bird, get away from this earth, had to pray a prayer felt I was cursed..” said Just Blaze, producer of the “We Win” track when asked about the inspirations behind the song.
The rest of the album will be released July 9, 2021 ahead of the release of the movie.
The plot follows basketball star, LeBron James, as he teams up with the Looney Tunes gang to defeat the Goon Squad and save his son with an appearance from the legend Michael Jordan in this jam-packed journey.
