Lil Keed Announces New Album entitled: ‘Long Live Mexico’

Atlanta has a new star rising in the hip hop game, and his name is Lil Keed. Signed to Young Thugs YSL Records, he Cleveland Avenue rapper is making his stamp in the music industry. JaGurl TV chopped it up with Lil Keed at the DTLR  4th Annual Summer Fashion Show where he performed his hit record “Nameless”.

Lil Keed confirmed with us that he is indeed working on an album that we can expect it sometime in May 2019. “I did a tribute to my brother who passed away, his name was Mexico so I’m calling the album ‘Long Live Mexico’. It’s a great album, it’s going to really separate me from these folks.” Lil Keed also confirmed that we can expect features on the album from Young Thug, Gunna and a few more surprises.

Lil Keed was recently nominated for the 2019 XXL Freshman cover. When we asked about his first reaction to the nomination he stated: “Its getting bigger and bigger every day. I’m blessed, I’m just doing what I’m supposed to be doing.”

With a mentor and father figure like Young Thug taking Lil Keed under his wing, his is evolving and more focused than ever. “He (Young Thug) just be telling me don’t lose focus, you’re doing everything right. You really just have to stay focused; don’t worry about everything that’s going on, just worry about what you’re doing and keep the tunnel vision.”
