Looks like Disney is hoping on board with rebooting old beloved TV Shows. That So Raven reboot ‘Raven’s Home’ has already been brought back to life, and now Disney is welcoming back Lizzie McGuire.
Hilary Duff will be making her way back onto the Disney lover’s screens as her beloved role, Lizzie McGuire. Duff released her exciting news on her Instagram page after the news was announced in August. The McGuire actress also revealed that she had been keeping this a secret from the fans for month, “It feels surreal, to be honest. I’ve been living with this information for months now so it’s been very hard to even contain my excitement.”
What will this reboot be about? For starters, Duff explained that “…now she’s 30, and I feel like I’m going to have to learn some of her quirky faces again…” The reboot will consist of McGuire now 30 years old, navigating life in the Big Apple (New York City) as a fashion designer apprentice, according to Elle. The show is set in Brooklyn, New York, but McGuire will return home to her hometown California every once in a while.
