For the past 13 years Ludacris takes over Atlanta for Luda Day weekend, and this year there’s no difference. The 13th annual Luda day weekend kicked off with a Big Bang this year! Instead of having a bowling tournament, Ludacris had a “Game Night For A Cause” that Ludacris himself hosted. The proceeds went to The Ludacris Foundation.
Luda Fam day was on day 2 which included good barbeque, performances, and games! Rapper retro starky performed among others. This event was in partnership with The Walton Foundation, Fulton DeKalb Hospital Authority, Planet Fitness and Core Water.
On Day 3 Ludacris and the Ludacris Foundation hosted its popular annual Celebrity Basketball Game. This year it was at the Morehouse Forbes Arena. Ludacris and his assistant coach 21 Savage led Team Hip Hop while Jamie Foxx and Rotimi from Power led Team Hollywood. Team Hip Hop included Big Tigger, Quinn Cook of The Golden State Warriors, and Ms. Basketball. Team Hollywood had Tamera Young of The Atlanta Dream, Michael Rainey Jr. from Power, & Tank and Taurean Prince of The Atlanta Hawks. Karruche Tran was also in the building!
Luda Day weekend ended with the top golf takeover hosted by Chaka Zulu and Ludacris in Atlanta Midtown.
