The self acclaimed material girl is letting us into her material world!
Legendary artist, Madonna, is co-writing and directing an upcoming biopic about her life and career. She will be collaborating with the talents of writer, Diablo Cody, to get the job done.
“I want to convey the incredible journey that life has taken me on as an artist, a musician, a dancer — a human being, trying to make her way in this world,” Madonna said of the film in a statement. “The focus of this film will always be music. Music has kept me going and art has kept me alive. There are so many untold and inspiring stories and who better to tell it than me. It’s essential to share the roller coaster ride of my life with my voice and vision.”
The film, which currently does not have a title, will follow the star from her days growing up in Michigan to her times in New York and then blowing up to international stardom.
Madonna teased her 15 million IG followers about the film asking “Are you ready for the story of my life … Am I? #livetotell #diablocody #screenplay”
This is great for Madonna fans everywhere because Universal Studios, who will be distributing the biopic, is known for taking things to the big screen on an international level.
