Mariah Carey has been a multi-award-winning American singer, songwriter, actress, and producer many times over. Literally,” the multi-platinum award-winning artist, Carey, shares.
The lessons also extend to students finding themselves through self-expression. “As a singer and songwriter, I have chosen to be very specific and real about certain things. Keeping things general, but still trying to reveal a specific emotion that I was feeling in the moment, hoping someone else can relate to it,” Carey shares. “That stuff really matters to somebody.”
Mariah signs off with her passionate, ‘why,’ in her reason behind deciding to do this. “I want to do this because this is what I’m feeling in my heart. We are talking about the power in your voice. Music saved my life in many ways. If I can do the same for other people, that’s everything.”
