The Houston native Megan Thee Stallion stood ethereal and poised as she graced the cover of the 2021 Women of the Year issue of Glamour Magazine. She took to instagram to celebrate her accomplishment with her caption stating “THE H-TOWN HOTTIE IS GLAMOUR’S WOMAN OF THEE YEAR”. Fans quickly rushed to her comments to congratulate her.
This past week has been one of triumphs for Megan. The soon to be TSU graduate was spotted taking graduation pics on campus, she released her new album entitled Something for Thee Hotties, and her halloween looks have been scorching the timelines of social media.
Megan has become an unfiltered role model for women. So what keeps this Hot Girl motivated? In Megan’s recent interview with Glamour Magazine she credits her Mom, Self-love, and perseverance. “They always gave me such high praise. I could be doing the smallest things, [and they would be like,] Oh, my God, Megan, you tied your shoes so well.”
Despite a personal loss and a public assault one thing is for sure, Megan’s confidence dominates her persona and is beyond evident in her music. Her lyrics provide her listeners with the self-love she feels and she credits that inner self-love that she has for herself to both her mother and grandmother.
Thee Stallion’s means of expression have always been big, bold, and direct. She promises to bring awareness for Black women to be fully represented using rap as her medium stating, “If I have to be the example I will be.”
Megan brags humbly that she is unapologetically southern and is not afraid of a little confrontation. Her confidence is raw and uncut exuding just enough class and elegance. As a result of her hard work and determination, her wins keep stacking higher and higher.
