The season of giving continues and Meek Mill is coming to town! Just days before the holiday, the Philly rapper will be heading home to host a gift giveaway for families at the city’s Convention Center.
With the pandemic affecting his giving efforts last year, he is making sure that his hometown knows that he is always thinking of where he came from.
According to TMZ, with the support of friends Patriots owner Robert Kraft, Sixers Partner Michael Rubin, and Roc Nation management, they are set to give $500,000 worth of gifts. The gifts include gift cards, electronics, dolls, bikes and more!
And it doesn’t stop there! Meek will also be giving $30k to the volunteer organization, Twelve Days of Christmas.
This Sunday, December 19th, Meek Mill and friends will be changing the Christmas season for so many. “It’s been a tough year for all of us, but through all the ups and downs, I’ll always do my part to support and give back to the Philly Community.” Meek Mill said in a statement according to Revolt.
This event will be completely different from last year where the “Sharing Locations” rapper had to video chat the recipients of the 2020 giveaway. Yet, he was and is still able to bless families and many more to come!
