Being a part of the beloved R&B singers in the early 2000s, Musiq Soulchild’s music is still relevant and played to this day. Widely known for his singles Love and Just Friends, Musiq Soulchild gave JaGurl TV an insight on what he has in store with his music in the future.
Going on the Asian tour, Musiq Soulchild was asked when he will be touring in the U.S. “As soon as some promoters like to, you know.. put two ideas together and figure that one out.”
The GRAMMY nominated singer also went into how the music world has shifted with generations, and that the music tastes are different now. “It’s a different time so .. ya know, folks are more distracted with other things. Unfortunately in our culture once you have done enough time they done likely forgot about you.”
His project Feel the Real is currently available on all streaming platforms. It includes 24 records. “Yea feel the real, it’s 24 songs” Souldchild elaborated on his project.
What’s next for the R&B singer? “I don’t know, when you guys get the album that’ll let me know” Soulchild told Williams. Let’s hope that more classics will be made soon.
