In honor of the 25th anniversary of Nas’ sophomore album, It Was Written, the rapper plans to release a digitally expanded edition of the 1996 classic.
The digital reissue will include bonus tracks that were previously unreleased through digital services. The cassette-only song “Silent Murder” and “Street Dreams,” which includes an extra verse, will be featured on the album.
In addition, Get On Down will release a limited edition vinyl collectible of Nas’ 1996 album. The vinyl editions will have two options, 2LP AND Clear Galaxy. Each vinyl will be housed in a gatefold jacket and old cassette custom case.
It Was Written sold over 2.5 million copies and the rappers best-selling album to date.
