NBA ALL STAR GAME 2019: MVP, Music, & Memories

This year’s All-Star Game, held in Charlotte, North Carolina, was all about energy.

Meek Mill opened the show with a performance of songs from his latest album Championships which was only fitting. The NBA hosts the All-Star games every February which features a combination of the league’s star players.

Moments to Remember:

CBS Sports reports, Team Lebron brought home the W with a leading 14 points. Team Giannis started strong with a 20 point lead but came up short at the end with 164 points, in comparison to their opponents’ 178.

Lebron James and Dwyane Wade played in their last all-star game as a duo, as Wade is expected to retire.

Kevin Durant of the Golden State Warriors earned the All-Star game MVP after racking in 31 points. Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks pulled out some tricks, including the point made by the alley-oop pass from Stephen Curry. Giannis, the first international winner of an All-Star game MVP, scored 38 points.
