Netflix is a streaming platform service that has curated itself as a staple in entertainment lovers homes globally. They are the pioneers of getting all your favorite shows and movies from the comfort of your couch. They continue to grow and find new ways to take it to the next level. The next phase of Netflix’s growth could be live streaming.
According to Deadline, a Netflix team is already in “the preliminary stages of developing the product.” A live streaming option could be added to set more competition for major streaming services like Twitch. The option may be applied to live voting in Netflix’s competition series like the upcoming dance show Dance 100, live reunions for reality shows such as Selling Sunset, and the live performances for their events. If this come to fruition, this will create a gateway for a bunch of different interactive shows for viewers.
